Chinese artist Yang Yongliang‘s sprawling photographic collages depict uncontrolled urbanisation in a way that the works look like traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy until viewed up close when the apparently peaceful mountains and seascapes are found to be choked with buildings, factories, and machinery.
