Here are some beautiful old space illustrations are from the Astronomic Picture Atlas by Ludwig Preyßinger, published in 1851 in Germany.

Who knows how they did glow in the dark stars back in those days, probably witchcraft, but they’re still glowing away and the illustrations look fantastic.
